The medical library was established in 1950 and offers a collection of antique medical textbooks dating back to the 19th century alongside a diversified digital collection with over 6,000 electronic journals in the fields of medicine and nursing, over 1,000 leading electronic books, evidence-based medicine databases and more.
The medical library is open for use to all hospital personnel: medical, nursing, paramedical and administrative.
The medical library offers document delivery, interlibrary lending (local and international), training and reference on various topics, medical literature searching (prior to article publication, treatment, guideline drafting, etc) as well as an option to sign up for email notifications on newly published articles of interest. As the library staff regularly initiates additional services, it is recommended to follow up.

Hospital personal can access the electronic collection remotely (initial registration from within the hospital network is required).
